Gilberton Outback Retreat Experience Package
Allow yourself time to fully appreciate a stay at Gilberton Outback Retreat. Enjoy all that Gilberton has to offer and experience our way of life, staying in the comfort and luxury of the private retreat accommodation.
As our exclusive guests, we tailor your experience entirely to your needs. Do as much or as little as you please. All activities, meals and tours are inclusive, so all you need to do is choose your adventure or simply just soak up the tranquillity.
Cost: $950 per person per night. Minimum 2 nights.
Reef to Beef – Fixed Wing
From the Great Barrier Reef to the Australian Outback
The adventure begins with a fixed-wing flight from Ingham across the Australian Outback to the stunning Gilberton Outback Retreat. This package is all-inclusive of flights, accommodation, meals and beverages, tours and experiences at Gilberton Outback Retreat.
Upon arrival, you will be shown to your room, introduced to your hosts and presented with a range of activities you can take part in.

Tinaroo ‘n’ Tablelands Package
From the beautiful Atherton Tablelands to the Australian Outback
Take flight from Atherton in the morning and enjoy the spectacular views over the Tablelands on your way to Gilberton Outback Retreat, arriving in time for lunch at the retreat. The afternoon activities are completely up to you, choose from one of our tours or relax in the retreat overlooking the Gilbert River. Enjoy a campfire dinner and then retire for the night.
Enjoy a delicious breakfast, then you can either go on a tour or kick back and relax before your mid-morning flight back to Atherton.

Cobbold Gorge Package
Combine a visit to the spectacular Cobbold Gorge with a luxury stay at the exclusive Gilberton Outback Retreat on the 7th generation working cattle station. Expect the unexpected and encounter a unique and genuine Australian outback experience that will stay with you forever.
Day 1
Make your own way to Gilberton Outback Retreat, sunset tour, dinner, overnight at the Retreat.
Day 2
Helicopter transfer from Gilberton to Cobbold Gorge.
Settle into accommodation, enjoy lunch then take in a 3 hour Gorge tour.
Enjoy a self guided walk or relax by the pool, followed by a 3 course dinner and overnight at the Gorge.
Day 3
Helicopter transfer back to Gilberton Outback Retreat.
4WD safari or guided bush walk, search for gold or be involved on the cattle station.
Dinner at night with family and overnight in the Retreat.
Day 4

Helicopter and Outback Retreat
The most scenic arrival
Enjoy an Australian Sparkling wine and cheese board while you settle into the comfortable leather seats of your air-conditioned Robinson 44 Helicopter. After a scenic 2-hour flight, you will arrive at the exclusive Gilberton Outback Retreat for your Outback Retreat Experience.

Day 1: Depart Townsville (approx 1-2pm), overnight at Gilberton Outback Retreat. Includes all activities, meals and tours.
Day 2: Your choice of adventure or soak up the tranquillity at Gilberton Outback Retreat, Depart Gilberton (approx 1-2pm) for your return flight to Townsville.
Cost: 1 night including flights for 2 guests – Price on application
Heli Option 2: Multi Day
Day 1: Depart Townsville (approx 1-2pm), overnight at Gilberton Outback Retreat. Includes all activities, meals and tours.
Day 2: Your choice of adventure or soak up the tranquillity at Gilberton Outback Retreat. Overnight at Gilberton Outback Retreat.
Day 3: Your choice of adventure or soak up the tranquility at Gilberton Outback Retreat, Depart Gilberton (approx 1-2pm) for your return flight to Townsville.
